Thank you Angie... xx
Jeanne, I was so excited when I saw the first image because I thought it meant that you were putting out a book about your adventures! Drat...Or is it an idea for you to think about? Hmmm? Bisous,H
I think it would put me over and around the bend Heather..but a lovely thought. xx
Jeanne, One of the most delicious pieces of your time in Vietnam is your detailed and sensitive showing of the color of the life of the people there. With my historical information about that country mostly coming from news during the long war, and from a young man we sponsored to come to the US as the people were leaving Vietnam, who lived with us for two years until he found work and community in Seattle and the in Houston, I must say the pictures in my mind were very different from what you have shared. I do so appreciate the looks at people daily going about their chores and pleasures, the markets, the shops, the streets, the flowers and trees and waters...so much lovely has reformed my internal image and story of Vietnam. Thank you for this shift...I certainly remember the devastation of war, always so destructive, but to see how life has blossomed in the aftermath has been a most particularly wonderful experience for me.
